“Police are still looking for a 40-year old man wanted in Monday’s fatal shooting in northwest Las Vegas. Metro says Mario Lino shot and killed Mark Haberman because he believed his wife was having an affair.

Who could have known that in a place so filled with the sounds of a spring day that gunshots would shatter an otherwise quiet neighborhood afternoon. Some people say they had their suspicions. “I always see the lady there and that was it,” neighbor “Ramone” told News 3.

Jesse Corona: When you heard that it might have been the pool lady what did you think?

Neighbor: I told his workers and the first thing that came out of their minds was that it was that pool lady’s husband.

47-year-old Mark Haberman was gunned down in his doorway, police say by Mario Lino. According to Metro, Lino followed his estranged wife to Haberman’s house. The unidentified woman, who works as a pool cleaner, told police that Lino was convinced she was having an affair with Haberman, one of her customers.

“I said, oh my God! Of course I was shocked.” “Nancy” knew Mario Lino in passing. “He had a hot temper, he really did.” She says Lino and his wife owned a pool service company called Sunshine Pools.

“Nancy” says she actually referred Lino’s company to Haberman two years ago and that the two men were not the best of friends. “I only know that he didn’t get along real well with Mark because Mark had dogs and used to let them play in the pool and he (Mario) had to clean the mess up so he used to complain about that.”

Still, Nancy says no one could have guessed the situation would end in violence with one man dead, the other on the run.
